   For Friday June 9th thru Sunday June the 10th the streets of Matewan were filled with Civil War Reenactors from all across the country.  These Reenactors performed on Mate Street in Downtown Historic Matewan both Saturday and Sunday.  The Town of Matewan would like to thank each and every one of these Reenactors and hope that they will participate in next years event.
